About the Founder
By 2004, Jayme McRee had spent nearly fifteen years alternating between selling and marketing roles at both small and large corporations. For nearly every client and organization he encountered he recognized a similar problem: The tendency to look at these two key components of customer acquisition as separate and compartmentalized.
Even for those companies that had executive leadership managing both functions, the goals and metrics were disparate - and in some cases, competitive and dysfunctional. This lack of continuity lead to the failure of many sales or marketing teams to achieve the best possible results.
The idea of total continuity - of a holistic Sales Continuum that merged sales and marketing functions into a single process, proved to be far more successful. Jayme founded Active Marketing Consultants, LLC to provide consultant services to small and mid-sized firms looking to fix the problem of compartmentalization, and achieve better selling and marketing results without significantly increasing costs.
Experience
Jayme's professional career spans twenty years and includes Senior VP and Director's positions in Business Development, Sales, Marketing Communications, Corporate Training and Customer Service. His customer-centric, ROI-based approach has successfully advanced many products, brands and companies.
Jayme provided sales and sales management training for individuals and sales teams while working for Sandler Training, formerly Sandler Sales Institute (SSI), the largest professional sales training organization in the world. He served as Senior Vice President and Director of Special Projects for Guardian Loan Company, and was Managing Director for Guardian's subsidiary Buyer real estate firm. Jayme served first as Vice President and then as Chief Executive Officer for Eden Communications, an IBM Premier Software Partner.
In the late 1990's and early 2000's, Jayme served as Director of Marketing for Harte-Hanks, a three billion-dollar global direct marketing firm. He later assumed the role of Director of Business Development to drive sales of the firm's integrated CRM and marketing communications solutions to international clients including Conseco Finance, Boehringer-Ingelheim, Pfizer, Roche, Mazda and Mercedes-Benz.
Jayme is a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston. He has published papers on Service Quality, Customer Service and Relationship Management. He has been a keynote speaker at conferences, trade events and business forums on the topics of Selling Best Practices, Service Quality and Integrated Marketing Communications, and has developed Sales Effectiveness and Consultative Selling training curriculums for global corporations.
